I used to bow hunt hard in my 20's to early 30's. I shot all the local 3d tournaments on Saturdays and won quite a few. Then as my family grew so did the work and I didn't get to bow hunt like I would have liked. Little did I know that God was trying to get my priorities in line. I am now 41. 4 1/2 years ago my wife of 21 years and I said goodbye to my 15 year old daughter and she walked through the pearly gates of Heaven. We have a 15 year old son (6'2" and 265 pounds) and he chose hunting and fishing over sports. He is just now getting into bowhunting which is giving ol dad an excuse to get back into it. Sorry for the long story but here are a few from arkansas. Both deer made it to the wall. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

So sorry to hear of your loss my friend. I can't even fathom the thought of such loss. I'm glad you found us on here, great group of people! Good to hear your son is getting into it as well! I look forward to talking to you more!
