Due to getting a retinal tear causing a macular hole in my right eye, I am switching from a right to left handed bow. Getting a Halon 32. Looking into getting a half dozen bare shaft VAP XTORSION's .I am looking to be over 500gn total around weight. These seem like a good option without having to add weight tubes. Is there any dealers in here that can get me a price on these with the heavy inserts?
If all you want is 500 grains you're better off with lighter GPI and more weight in front. Otherwise your FoC is going to be too low and you risk having your broadhead steer the arrow. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Sorry. Should have been more specific. The inserts are SS and weigh 60gn. Then I'll be using a 125gn broadhead .If that isn't enough for them if switch to a 150. Wanting to shoot Helix broadhead this year .

Yes when I did the math earlier I think it came to around the 575 Mark. But it should give me enough keep and momentum for pass throughs. Lol .

I'm in Central Illinois. I found a website that supposedly has them but they want $180.00 for a dozen. My local shops don't even care VAP though so I'm thinking unless they can custom order them I'll have to buy online.

I have heard Good and bad on these shafts. Anyway they are interesting and I probably pick some up to try at some point. You going to be hard pressed to find them less than 13-15 for a bare shaft. Think it was Lancaster that had them listed for 15.
