As the title states, I am curious if you would rather hunt alone or with a partner. Me, personally, would much rather hunt alone than with other people. The three people I do enjoy hunting with are (in no particular order) my current girlfriend, youth hunters and my best friend. There is something about hunting with others that turns me off. A friend of mine is completely different and would rather go out with someone to share the memories with, he thinks I'm turning into a miserable old man at 23. What would you guys rather do?

I’d hunt with my dad 7 out of 7 days of the week if I could! But I’m 95% of the time by myself.

I do hunt by myself almost all the time now and enjoy it. However, I would gladly take a partner to team up with. If for no other reason than to bounce ideas against and help each other out. I do enjoy the camaraderie of it.

Most of the time hunting solo is more productive. I dont like answering to anyone in the woods.

I mainly deer and turkey hunt alone. Unless I'm taking my kids. Which that is becoming more and more often since I have a 10 year old and two 7 year olds.
But now on the other hand if I am going to be duck hunting big open waters such as rivers or lakes. I always, always hunt with someone. It is just to dangerous to duck hunt like that alone. Plus a big part of duck hunting is hanging out with friends!

Alone for sure. I love not having any stress whatsoever about entertaining someone else. Hunting alone allows me to focus on the task at hand.

I reserve social hunting for duck hunting and fishing

For duck hunting, I enjoy hunting with as many friends as possible. Deer hunting I enjoy the actual hunting (sitting in stand) alone but definitely prefer scouting, prep work, and being at deer camp with others. My favorite part of deer season is that camaraderie, sharing stories, and breaking bread together. The possibility of shooting a big buck is just the cherry on top for me.

Usually alone, sometimes bring people along which is handy because they help out with filling and hanging feeders and general tasks afterwards.

Deer hunting - I prefer alone . No one to screw up my spot.

Turkey - Either way is good for me. Sitting in a blind I prefer solo. "Chasing" them turkeys is more fun with a hunting buddy.

Same here. Haven't hunted with him in over 10 years. Almost made it happen last year so I'm hoping this year we can.

Typically hunt alone for deer. Do enjoy deer camp when I go but can come and go as I please to hunt. Only people typically hunt with us my dad, step dad and son. Good memories!
