Mathews Heli-M, Chill-R, or Halon 5

    Out of those three bows which one would you rather have? Mainly used for hunting.

    You listed 3 vastly different bows. Personally as a dedicated hunting rig I wouldn't ever choose a 5in brace height. So with that the Halon 5 is out. From there it comes down to if you prefer a lightweight single cam or a faster dual cam bow

    I LOVE my Heli-M. Had it since it came out. Every year since then I have shot other bows, and haven't found a hunting bow I like as much, so I just keep putting new strings on it.

    Agreed. Well, almost. I finally broke down and bought a Triax recently, but while the Triax is more accurate for me when it comes to target shooting, I'm seriously considering continuing to hunt with my Heli-M and just use the Triax to beat the guys in the club at our bow shoots.

    Another vote for Heli-M love mine since the day I got it, ended up getting a no cam for a steal, but still find myself shooting my heli-m

    I am still rolling with the Heli-M. I firmly believe it is a great bow that can compete with other higher end newer bows that have recently came out. I wish I had the money for the Triax though.
