use whole tenderloin---cut in half lengthwise--make a boat out of tinfoil===place tenderloin in tinfoil boat--pour bacon grease over each tenderloin, season to taste, place in smoker, smoke 225 degrees for about 2 hours, use mesquit3e or hickory omg !
Liberal mounts Olive Oil, Fresh cracked pepper, sea salt....hot grill, medium rare. Finish with a few pats of salted butter while it’s resting for 5 minutes, then slice thin on a bias. Roasted peppers, fresh grilled corn on the side.
Steak seasoning and like 1/4 oz of worchestershire for flavor, just brushed on, grill meat in large chunks, rare enough it grosses everyone else out they wont eat it and cooked enough u can, Eat the whole thing yourself and feel like a real carnivore
This sounds incredible. Are you talking butterflying each individual tendy or just straight cutting each in half? So essentially there would be four pieces of tenderloin ?
I call this kettle steak... Lightly flour medallions and pepper both side. Brown in skillet of olive oil on medium to high heat. Couple minute per side at most. Put in crock pot and add one can golden mushroom soup, one can of french onion soup, one table spoon balsamic vinegar, 1/2 soup can of water. Turn on low heat for 4 hours. Serve with mash potatoes, and your favorite greens. This is a no fail recipe that I serve to folks who have never had venison or say they don't like it. Guaranteed --you'd slap your granny to get the last bite!

Here is my variation of this. 4 equal parts Worcestershire, teriyaki, A1, olive oil. Then bacon wrap and cook med rare.
