Let me know if this isn’t allowed. A buddy showed me this YouTube series while at a wedding this last weekend. I don’t watch many online hunting shows but have enjoyed this one so far. I’ve started from the beginning and have watched 30+ so far. I like that some of the episodes are as short as 5 minutes. Like how they are going into public land simply by looking at a map, scouting, finding, and then going after bucks. Also like that not every episode features a kill (actually not many episodes show kills). https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzlnaIrdxwJITyrESOReqxg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Those guys used to be on Midwest Whitetail and I enjoyed watching their hunts. I haven’t seen a lot of their YouTube stuff. I don’t hunt any public land, but they throw out some tasty tid bits of deer knowledge on their live podcasts when answering questions. And I like all the tasty tid bits of deer theory I can get from as many proven hunters as possible.
Yup, former Midwest Whitetail guys. Their public land hunts over the last few years were pretty good. I believe they did a turkey road trip this year where they hunted all different states over a months time. Good stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Best online hunting show this side of BHOD. They seem like decent guys, too. They are not full of themselves at all. I mean the long-haired kid drives around in an old Dodge Journey, for God's sake. Until they recently teamed up w/ Legendary I don't think they had any official sponsors. with the possible exception of Muddy. Hard to tell what's leftover equipment from MW, but they definitely don't soak you with in-scene ads. Most of them shoot the Hoyts they used on MW, but I noticed the older guy who wasn't on MW shoots something else. (PSE maybe?)
Are you talking about Greg Clements? He was on MW a little but was mainly behind the camera or producing I believe. I think he still might produce some stuff for MW as well, not 100% sure on that. The other guys left MW because they started as interns and after a while, wanted to be more than interns.
I also recently discovered them and have watched a bunch of their scouting episodes, which have given me many different things to think about on the public land that I hunt. Hoping to put some of their techniques into practice and put myself onto more deer this year.
I also found there youtube channel while surfing around youtube. I love how real life and practical their hunts and tips are for the everyday hunters as opposed to the professional hunters that have all the private land they could possibly want to hunt. I love the info that they put out too as I think they hold nothing back as they want everyone to be successful as possible, also they have the common equipment that most of us average public and private land hunters use. Their tips are also great for the average hunter as it was said before you see all the actual ups and downs of hunting of misses and blowing deer trying to get into and out of spots, not all edited up to provide a perfect hunt every episode. This series has also helped me to get my hunting fixes on this deployment, I hope they keep this all going.
Love those guys. They also have a podcast where they explain how they scout/hunt/etc. Worth looking into if you like their youtube stuff.
I've been watching their channel since last fall. They have 25k subscribers since September 2017. Looks like they're going to be one of the bigger Hunting-themed YouTube channels in the very near future. They are quite personable and laidback, and do a lot of explaining about why and how they're hunting - just a lot of great content and I like how they post frequently using shorter videos.
Addicted to the "Turkey Tour" series, great group of friends that hunt together, I would be proud to call them friends. Aaron has shown great ethics time and time again, had a really nice Tom 2 steps from being on public, didn't shoot, let him walk. You really feel the raw excitement when they are able to get it done. Still trying to catch up on all the deer hunting shows. Would love to know why they are no longer doing the "Spring Thunder" shows?
Your link isn’t working. What’s the name of the show? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
No he was talking about Ted Miller. That guy has forgotten more about killing big deer than most folks know. He used to appear on the White Knuckle show years ago.
Aahhhh gotchya. I haven’t seen one with him in it yet, but I havent seem very many and I skip all the turkey stuff
yea I honestly cannot stand watching turkey hunting. It's literally all the same...yelp yelp yelp...here comes a bird...yelp yelp...gobble...BANG...
