Went up to the New Jersey property I will be hunting this year and hung out first few sets, brought four stands and ended up only setting up 3. I’m really loving the first set we hug up I think that will be my opening day set, there’s a ton of back cover! All throughout this area there seems to be some grasses coming up and my camera shows them feeding on it before they go out to the fields. So far mostly doe on camera only a few bucks but I think once the pressure starts they will move into the swamps on the property and then be chasing does! The last picture is my first group at 50 yards from yesterday with my new string! Come on September!!!! IMG_1648.JPG

We go permission on 50 acres this year, a majority of it is swamp though, there’s also a large cattle pen. This set up is in a small patch of dry land at the edge of the swamp

Looks great, how much tree trimming will you do, it looks thick, rather clear more or less for more cover?

Very thick behind me but the good news is that terrain would t allow for a shot behind me anyway, also the wind is typically being blown that direction. So here’s to hoping everything stays in front of me!
