Rb - forgot to ask, if I remember right was your truck an original survivor and not restored? By chance any pics of what beat it? I’m a Ford guy myself but can appreciate any good classics and it looks sweet. Dusted off and cleaned up my Mustang the other day with my kids and hoping to get a few miles on it more than last year.

Yes it is a survivor. Got beat by a very nice 55 chevy. He also got the people's choice trophy. [IMG]

Western - here’s two of the spots I refreshed the other day. With the dead leaves from fall still and all doesn’t quite do justice for how they end up torn around too, but lighter looking stump also had log pieces when first started and dirt way higher too. Maybe been refreshing for 5 years or so. The other just started last year and they’ve taken a lot of it down too. Have a few more that are little more dramatic change I haven’t been to for a while but as an idea

Looks good Turro. I'm going to put some out when turkey season ends and put some cams out. Turkeys been humbling me the limited time I've been out this year. Normally tagged out by now. I haven't been in almost a week. Gonna go tomorrow am I hope.

Still no prize pack! haha.. Fitz had reached out to them... but nothing yet. I will just chalk this one up as a miss... lol...

Hope tomorrow works out. As close as I’ve got to Turkey hunting is first sighting of one around here the other day. Pathetically exciting for me. Few neighbors have seen them years back but usually not around this area. Curious to see if coming around or a stray then nothing again. Either way pretty sweet.
Who knows about the prize pack, probably just saving on shipping and stick it in with this years...

I thought he was pretty decent. Definitely not used to guessing on them so figured best I could do is scramble for hand cam and zoom. Love to have them around more. Sure beats having steady wolf pics like last year but we’ll see if they cycle back in again too.
Really looking forward to how season goes this year. Awesome last two seasons, and plenty of potential still

That’s exactly what I was thinking. When I saw the beard that’s what I’ve heard of for judging so wanted to get a pic. I raised 10 two years ago and they were a blast to have. Might have to again. Debating trying to raise and release some to get some going too. Could be a good try

    Is it deer season yet!!!!!!

I can't complain I have a hell of a year stacking up. Heading to Africa in August for a hunt. September going for a Elk hunt. Both will be with a rifle, I'm not taking any chances on my first of both hunts lol. October I'm hoping to kill the brother of last year's deer hahahaha. November my wife will be having a baby. But end of November so it won't mess with my rut every year hahaha .

Chago good luck on all of it. I’ll be happy if I make it through a good fraction of that in my life let alone a year. Looking forward to good pics and stories of it all.
Definitely starting to feel more like it’s coming. Sprayed most of my plots this morning. Should be good and ready to disc and plant in a few weeks. Not 100% sure what I’m putting in each spot but looks better starting than other years already so hopefully good sign. Gonna get cams out and start seeing if there’s some antlers starting and around.

Out of all of my grandkids, this little lady keeps me hopping. Gracie loves all things outdoors. Barrel racing is her latest adventure and she loves it.[IMG][IMG]

She is six and her daddy is a two-time IPRA world champion heeler. She has been around rodeo her whole life so I don't see her giving it up.
