Anyone use or have any info on these game calls. + the black rack. I'm thinking of ordering one. Good or bad reply doesn't matter!!!!! Thx in advance
Chris, I read a ton of reviews on the black rack a few months ago, and it was really mixed... Lots of guys said it has a really strong plastic/chemical scent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have real sheds that I use but it was a thought, combo set with the game call and the black rack. So maybe no black rack then. Huh Thx josh
I have 20+ calls in a box. I have ONE call in my pocket.....Extinguisher. Does it all for my for the last 3 years. No experience with the Black Rack. FWIW Illusion makes great turkey and duck calls too. Their box call was designed with help from McPherson Guitar people (Matt McPherson). Made in the USA.
I also use the extinguisher game call. I've had it for 2 seasons now and really have been enjoying it. no experience with black rack. I prefer real bone.
I have an extinguisher and to be honest I'm not to crazy about it. Compared to some of my other calls it just doesn't seem loud enough. Under normal conditions I think it's just ok. But when it's windy I use something else. Blessings.......Pastorjim
Get one... Go on youtube.. watch the videos... practice.... = results If you don't watch the videos and practice... you won't get the results you are looking for... You got other calls and you have been calling for years... I get it... Watch the videos and practice...
I like mine and have it in the bag with me on most hunts. I think it sounds pretty realistic. I would agree its not super loud for calling across big fields.
Just got the Extinguisher... I think its a game changer!! As for the black rack I think the Knight & Hale pack rack is MUCH more useful for the modern hunter. Its compact, doesn't make noise until you need it to and isn't hard to transport to the stand. That combo is KILLER I think.
By far best call I've used, I used to call and call not knowing if I was helping or hurting my hunt..with that call I have seen it work time after time in the last few seasons. My confidence has gone up tremendously...I have the black rack as well but haven't had much luck, but could be do to my deer population.
I picked up the primos revolver and been messing around with it havent had the chance to use it in the woods yet but seems like a good product and similar to the extinguisher
Extinguisher is a good versatile call. I have a primos roar and a mad growler call for when I want to sound nasty but for an everyday call the extinguisher is it. Black rack I have too I don’t use it. Rattle bag or real bone
I'm going into my third season using the extinguisher, I do alot of calling, and the equipment I use as tools I am not easy on it. No problems with it, very realistic sounding, easy to use, and the slide feature is awesome. I would definitely recommend this call
The black rubber tube smelled so fricken bad. Like 1000 rubber bands fresh off the rubberband machine. Other than that its the best call Ive ever used
