Add a cooler, a lazy-boy recliner and an old wood stove and it'll be a Man-cave. That is really nice looking. Can you post up the cut dimensions just for the frame? Thanks
Unfortunately, our plans (which were really just scribbles) got thrown away. I do know that the width of each side frame is 30". If I remember right each sides out paneling is 1 1/4" bigger on each side. The height I believe it 6'6". I know we originally made them 7' tall but figured we could save some weight by cutting them down 6". The windows are 17" by 4'. The platform is 7' by 7'. Hope this is what were looking for. We will be heading down this spring and doing some work on it. We plan on putting in insulation and paneling the inside of it. Believe it or not, we found out during cold weather it actually traps cold air in it. We called it the ice box at the end of the season. We also plan on putting a real door on it. Right now we have one the we made but it is very clunky and won't open all the way. Thank you for the compliments. We are hoping to used it for very long time.
My hubby is going to build one for me, that is nice. He is going to fix it where I can have my buddy heater too.

Come on. That's a tree house not a hunting blind. My goodness. All jokes aside, that is a fantastic looking build. If I had one of those, I'd probably just move in permanently.
It was a real treat bringing the walls up I tell ya. After it was up, it was insulated, dry walled and carpeted. LOL. I kid not. The boss said she wanted it as quite as possible. That is why you see all the cross supports on the floor frame. Glued and screwed so not one bit squeaks. I do need to work on the vertical window a bit more. It makes a little noise.
Just curious how did u make your windows did u use plexiglass and how did you fasten the hinges to the glass? I'm also making a blind similar to a redneck. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Yes, we used plexiglass. We just drilled small holes in it and screwed it to the window frame and then attached the hinges to the backside of the frame. We put weather strip between the plexi and the main stand to seal it when closed. Hope this helps.
