    The season change ( I did not say climate change) is all across the continent this year. At least we got most of the yard work done the last few nice days we had. Yesterday working in the shop in a T-shirt. Today I have the fireplace going in the house. Getting light rain out now. going to the basement where the corn stove is going and practice my turkey calls. Be a week before they come out from under the snow so may as well practice. I need for sure. May even get bored enough to try a mouth call again - till I gag the first time. Then they go in the fire place. All 6 of them.

    Same issue here. Trying to be a house painter with weather in the 20's. Not happening.

    There will be fire season this spring, all the lowland grass and swamps will be flooded. The only thing more disappointed than me are the robins that showed up. They are actually scratching like chickens around my foundation where there is no frost to try to find something to eat.

    I mowed my lawn yesterday, first time this spring. We have had so much rain in the last two weeks it grew six inches. It was 40 degrees when I mowed.

    We got 18" Saturday. This is in the middle of town. We had drifts halfway up our 30' machine shed doors.

    Well we just had on Saturday and Sunday another 10 - 20 inches depending where you were at. and some more coming on wed. There is suppose to be a outdoor 3d shoot this weekend it might not happen.

    Fitz when ever I complain about the weather at my place I ponder how much worse it have to be 200 miles north. Are you planning an ice fishing special for the opener?
