    Anybody excited about the last of the season and upcoming playoffs? I enjoy playoff hockey it is intense but it makes me dismiss regular season games. Locally the Minnesota mild will get done in the first round because they can not get to the net, and still stuck to long term investments in just average players.

    I have a lot to be excited about. I am kind of pissed they did so well last year, ticket prices went up and everyone and their mother is a "fan" now. I used to get good 200 level tickets for $65 no matter who was playing. Oh well, I have a big arse TV and cheap beer.
    I grew up in CT watching the Whalers then the Wolfpack after the whalers left. Started going to Preds games about 10 years ago as a cheap fun professional sports event. I think the first 4 years I was going, they lost every game I went to, but hockey is fun to watch so you can't go wrong.

    Did you see they are going to re-sign Holland and Blashill? Better get used to no hockey in April and May!

    I really want to see Vegas win the cup, would be the most exciting thing for the NHL in awhile. Plus who would want the Pens to three-peat? Not me...

    I'll follow along to the regular season, don't watch many games until the playoffs...usually just check the box scores. It's been nice finally being able to watch a good team! Blue Jackets fan here.

    Jets must have been jet lagged, they attempted to fly into Minnesota Saturday night, MSP shut down because of the snow and the plane was diverted into Duluth. They sat on the tarmac in Duluth waiting for MSP to reopen when that did not happen they went back to Winnipeg. They flew into Minneapolis Sunday morning, took the jets out of the usual routine.

    Well it's official, the Minnesota excuse was used last night after getting run in their own building the coach and players blamed the refs for the gutless loss last night. Wish Schultzy was still around to post up excuses for the Mild.

    The first two were ugly as well. Being outshot 40 to 20 is not going to win you any games. Jets are a far better team.
