Check out the entire line of handheld GPS receivers Garmin produces...there will be one to suit your needs, and you just can't go wrong with a Garmin. (No I don't work for them, but have used various Garmin models over the past 18 or 20 years...top notch, reliable, tough stuff).
I stopped buying GPS units. Theres really no need with smart phones. As long as you have maps downloaded you will be fine. GPS does not require cell phone signal. I personally use onxmaps. Its like $30 a year for their basic setup. There are tons of other options out there.
I use the OnX hunt maps and it works great. $29 a year for one state or $99 a year for all 50 states. You can download maps for offline use too if you're gonna be in an area without cell service. So far it's worked really well for me. Haven't used the app to it's full potential but for what I need, it's really good. Great boundary lines for property and will give you the property owners name listed with public records too. It won't give you their phone number but at least you have a start on who owns the property to contact for access.
Thanks for the info. I also found huntstand check it out it is free and a nice way to track all of your spots.
I've used that too but it doesn't have the land owner information. I hunt small pieces and if I have to walk up to a door, it's nice to hopefully at least know who you're asking for to introduce yourself. Huntstand is good though.
