I am patiently waiting the arrival of the hawk ghost cams. I think I am going to get the 16MP cam vs the 20. The price point seems to be good along with a 2 year warranty. Who else will be purchasing one when they come out, or will you wait and see the reviews of the product before buying one? What's your overall thoughts on the product.
I'm going to wait and see the reviews on these. Interesting cam. I will buy the new Browning dark ops with dual lens as soon as it comes out. Waiting on trailcampro to get them in. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I too am waiting on the release of the new Brownings. In my opinion, the dual lense idea is a huge step forward in trailcams. I don't know if this first attempt will be perfected but it will surely cause other companies to come out with the same thing, hopefully improving it as it evolves. Not the first company to try it. My reconyx xr6 cams have it. First shot for Browning so I'm hoping for the best. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
How do you like this camera? I've read mixed reviews on it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I may have been one of the bad reviews you saw. My first two I bought as soon as I could get them. The first batch seemed to have issues. They both went back for various issues. I bought two more and they work great. But it's not perfect. The 4k video is only 15 fps so with a moving animal it's a little jumpy. The 2k and 1080p is 30 fps. I was hoping the 1080p would have been 60 fps. I mostly do videos but I set the ds4k for pictures and videos. The pictures are just ok in this mode because they use some of the fps as the pictures. What this means is it starts video immediately and takes the picture from the video frames and saves them. Low resolution. It takes some great pictures if you are in the picture mode set at least 8mp or higher. That's some of the bad reviews you see on pictures is because of how you set it up. The switch is like all stealth cams and I don't like it. Sorry to be so long. Sent from my SM-T537V using Tapatalk
Yea I’m ok with that. I knew it was going to be late spring/early summer. Once I get my hands on one and have the ability to test it out I will give a review on it.
Another member had posted trail cam pro had a couple for sale. I had not seen them even for sale on hawks website yet. So I scooped one up. I paid 99.95 and that was with free shipping and a free 16gb micro sd
Here are few of the test pictures that I took overnight at my house. I have the camera set to take two pictures at every 20 seconds. It captured 500+ images last night. Still shots are really clear for both day and night. If you have any movement it blurs the picture some. I will do some further testing on it and let everyone know how I think about the camera later on.
