I've been bowhunting since I bought a PSE Maurader in the mid 90s as a 15 year old. Took a few years to get my 1st deer but preferred bows to guns ever since. Killed my biggest buck last November on my own property. Not a monster but I deemed him mount worthy Lots of public land in my area and course Ohio's got a real long archery season so plenty of opportunities for someone willing to put in the time. Just picked up an Elite Tempo a couple months ago so looking forward to next season already.

I usually use a couple hens and occasionally add a half strut Jake. Lots of gobbles on the roost this morning but been quiet after 7:30. Couple lone hens checked us out but no toms. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I wasn't able to go turkey hunting. I had to do a new exhaust system on my truck. I'm in the buckeye state.
2 hens and jake decoy worked flawlessly this morning. Bird came in silent then beelined when he saw the jake and stated flogging him. My brother put a great shot on him. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
