if we can win this again next year we will have our own Dynasty... I wonder if everyone will hate us as much as the country hates the Patriots! Lol
Again, it has been a true pleasure to be on this team with all of you... we have a great group here.
Everyone is always welcome up here for some turkey or bear hunting!

It’s a kind of hate I’d be happy to get to.
It’s been a great time getting to know you guys and follow around on seasons. Makes it fun watching for updates and seeing the successes.
Same here, if anyone’s ever in the area for hunting I’d be happy to have you around, or if off season can always find somewhere to shoot or bs or fire up the bbq.
Western might have to think about some bear or turkey. I’m long overdue to get out somewhere and would make for a nice road trip

Boys it was a blast!!!! 2018 is going to be a great season. I can smell it. I have been fortunate enough to get to do some travel this year. This summer I'm heading to Africa on a plains game hunt. Then in fall I will be heading to northern Canada on a elk hunt. First time for me on both of those hunts.

I will be doing my usual Texas trip to my buddies farm so I should be able to guarantee my doe points there. But gonna have to earn my big buck score up here in the cold Canada again. I know that crazy 14 is still alive. Probably be a 150 class buck. Can't wait!!!!

Congrats again guys, any other year Team 4 would have been the trail blazers. Just wasn't meant to be.

It's all about the luck of the draw, and last years draw drew some consistent killers in Team 3.

Hoping to compete with you again, after never placing in the top 10 it was fun being in the fight and not just watching it.

    Nice work guys!

I'm 100% focused on IL and maybe an early season Wisconsin hunt for 2018. I've already re-signed my lease where I killed Nacho this year, and am actively looking for a second lease as well. Walked a pretty good looking one today, and walking another big one on Sunday. Both are in great areas and I'm hoping to have one of them locked up in the next two weeks or so. Then I can focus on shed hunting, and planning for 2018. I think the scouting and work this time of year might be my favorite part of it all and the most important part of the success I've had in recent years.

Good luck to the rest of you in figuring out your 2018 spots, and I'm looking forward to another year with you guys!

Good job guys, we did it again! In addition to my current hunting spots, I will be hunting the hill country of NE Oklahoma next season. My son-in-law took me and my son for a ride around Sunday afternoon. It looks real promising. He found 125"+ eight point deadhead on the property. I can't wait to get boots on the ground and hunt for some sheds. Should be a great place to find morels and may even hold a few turkeys as well.

I was planning to scout new property yesterday but we had an ice storm over the weekend. Stayed inside where it was warm.

i'm getting amped up for turkey season. weather here is terrible... nothing but rain and ice now.
contractors are done at house.. finally completed finished basement. Spent the weekend cleaning the garage and my little hunting room. Just need to stain the bar and get some stools, etc.
I picked up a new Canon safe yesterday and put it in.. I had 2 smaller ones... but I wanted one central place for all of my guns...

I still need to move everything into it and put some hunting stuff in and around this room. My poor wife. We will now have 3 rooms with mounts, skulls, etc. lol

Looks like a nice space you got there Western. You’ll have to post more pics when you get your man deco up.

Deer heads are going to stay upstairs since the ceilings are so low in basement... just gonna put a few skulls and may be the strutting turkey mount down there...

Got a call from my taxidermist today and he said my deer will be ready in about 3 weeks.
