nothing yet. i did find an left over stock rival in eve II camo...thinking about adding it to my collection of other rivals. one black & one in open country camo. i shoot elite ,prime, bowtech mathews...really looking for a wow factor this year.
Halon 32-7 31.5” draw Stone riser, Elevated II limbs. This was my last 50 yard group on my first day of really being able to get out and shoot it. There was a bottle cap where those 3 arrows are although I did have the one flyer. Got about 200 arrows through it today though. My shoulders and back are tired because I’m way out of shooting shape but it felt great.

Thanks! I’m loving the color scheme on the bow as well. The target is made out of 1/4” ply around a frame of 2x4. I used 2 layers of burlap for the target face and it’s stuffed with various plastic.Mostly used pallet wrap I get from the Pepsi driver at work. 3/4x4 pine remnant boards from Menards finished off the face. It was very cheap for me to make as most of the stuff I had laying around. Just burlap and this boards. Maybe have $20 in it. Works well so far but I just started using it that day actually so we will see what the longevity is. Here is where I got the idea. Mines very rough compared to his.
I know what Im gonna be building as soon as the snow clears! Ive been wanting to build a big target/backstop as I live in a small neighborhood and I feel the neighbors are a little uncomfortable with the bows out, this should calm their minds!!
I built a target from same video. It’s nice having a 4’ square backstop to shoot at. I am a finish carpenter so I felt the need to make it a little fancier than it would have to be but works great. Are you storing it indoors, or leaving it out and covered? Mine would need to stay outdoors, planned on building it with an elevated air gap on some treated lumber and then using a grill cover.
It’s been sitting outside for a year uncovered and have not seen any signs of weathering yet. The frame is made out of wax coated framing lumber, the face is made from an old trampoline that the wind destroyed “which works great if you can get your hands on one” and the inside is stuffed with old shrink wrap that I scored from my local Home Depot. They had a trailer full of it out back. All parts are water proof so no issues leaving it out. The deer target face I got from LANCASTER archery. That is also waterproof. If the front wears out I can just spin it around and the back is identical to the front. I feel like it might last forever. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
