Didn’t see but one doe! I almost shot her but decided not too. I’m going back this evening.

Can’t wait to see what this dude looks like next year. He’ll be 4.5 and I have two years of pics of him. Also, I hope this big split G2 buck hangs around. This big chicken hawk was watching me unload coal trucks the other day lol he was hanging out about 15 feet away. Got a browning command ops for xmas and put it out today. It take good daytime pics.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Well sorry y'all. I wasn't able to score a deer for us this year. It surly wasn't due to lack of trying though. I hunted more this year than I have the past 3 years put together. It was a blast just to get back out into Gods creation and enjoy. I was able to shoot a doe with a rifle of the last day of modern gun in Kentucky at my dads farm. I really didn't want to break out the gun, but my family was dying for some deer meat! (Me too!). Anyways, it was a fun year with y'all and I look forward to next season. God bless and take care gentleman.

IMG_3615.JPG I am in the tree this afternoon still have a few decent bucks showing up on camera mostly at night but I am hoping I might get lucky! I also have seen a couple of good bucks that are dropping there antlers. It has been very cold here for the last couple weeks!

Well, yesterday brought the end to the Oklahoma deer season. I was not able to harvest a buck this year but I learned something from that. I had a blast doing this contest with each and everyone of you. Now it’s time to get after some squirrels and ducks.

The contest was a good time and hey, we didn’t win but we didn’t do to bad! Everybody put the time in for sure. My 2018 deer season prep has already started. I got my soil samples back a few days ago, going to buy lime and fertilizer with the next overtime check. I’ve been putting a lot of time in punching paper and getting ready for 3d season also. Can’t wait!

Well the ducks have left lol. We froze up 3 days ago and now they’re gone. Now it’s squirrels.

It was definitely fun and I think we finished mid pack, which tickles me to death. Now...go listen to mediocre songs that I enjoy playing for my dogs until it’s time to hunt again....
