I wish we could enter more than one buck in the contest...but regardless this has been my best season ever...by a mile

Also I got the call tonight from my taxidermist, my buck is done and ready to pick up from last year! Really looking forward to seeing it, hopefully I can make it out this weekend to get it. When I get it I will post some pics!

As I hang my bow up for the year and I reflect upon the season that was I would like to extend my thanks and well wishes to all my team members this year. It has been fun being on your team this year and I have greatly enjoyed the experience and getting to know some of you guys. Congrats to all the successful hunters and especially to you booner for your great season. It was a tough year for me as I didn't get a crack at one of my target bucks but I was able to harvest a really nice mature deer that I was very happy with. Spent more time in a stand this year than I ever had to get it done. All in all I was able to take bucks, does, a bear and a coyote. I had a very successful and blessed season. Again wishing everyone the best in the future and maybe we can be on a team together again.

Haven't been on here or hunting as much as I would've liked the last month. Holidays were pretty busy and some other things happened.

But I'm hoping to get out tomorrow which is the last day. I'd like to get a doe, but that's never a guarantee.

I haven't been able to hunt since late Nov., but I got out Thursday for an evening sit.. and of course, got caught up in a frickin monsoon. I'm going to try to get out this coming Weds/Thurs, but mother nature certainly isn't doing us any favors around here.

I'm really sorry I wasn't able to contribute any points this season, boys. I flubbed on a couple of does and passed on some bucks that I wouldn't have been happy I shot. I'm a QDMA member and I'm at that point in my hunting "career" that I'm not going to shoot anything under PY unless there's a cool story or experience to go along.

Great being teammates with you all and best of luck in 2018!

Well guys I had fun! Also as a team we broke into the top 10, not to bad!

Don't know what happen to me this year. First time in a very long time that I didn't shoot a doe, and my freezer is feeling it! Had a blast as usual and maybe some of us will be on a team next year! Good luck on your scouting for next year and thanks for letting me be your captain.

Thanks for being the man, Holt! I wish I had a decent reason for not producing this year.. it's only happened one other season in my life. I'm still baffled.. Sucks that you guys caught me at a bad time, but both our team and the connections we've made with each other are solid!

It's no problem man, it happens to all of us once and awhile. Just a off year for a few of us. Make sure to keep in touch this off season, I'm on the hunt for another big buck, hopefully! Interested to see you guys can locate a few good ones this coming year also!

After all the work we've put in (and still are), karma should owe us good things this year. I'll definitely keep you in the loop!

It's been fun! remember Bow hunting is supposed to be hard though. If it wasn't, we wouldn't love it.
