Came close today on a nice Muley spot and stalk got with in 80 yards and a nice swirl of wind gave him a nose full of my stink.
Fun stuff. Will get a week of hunts.

Hey guys. Right now I'm using my moms hotspot for her phone lol. I've been able to get some hunting in since the move, but it's been rat/mice hunting and trapping. I shot 1 small mouse last night and just trapped a nice sized rat with my foothold trap.

I'm sitting on a small peanut butter pile. I'll update you guys as I kill stuff

Got busted by a dandy whitetail tonight. The woods were silent with wet ground today I bumped him going in around 2. Watched him slip away through my bino’s. He had a tore up and bloody ear. He never winded me. 2 hours later he slipped within 20 yards. I was scanning the woods with my binoculars. Must have missed him. When I saw him he was staring at me and took off. Watched him leave again. Hopefully he will be back in my life soon. This is a new spot for me. Some public ground that gets pounded early season. Fun fun fun

I've trapped/shot about 22 rats/mice from about 12:00 yesterday to now! And I shot a squirrel with my new benelli 12 gauge!

It was a pretty far shot, there was only a couple #7 1/2 bbs that hit him.

I trapped 3 mice and 1 rat over night. Just so you guys know this house we moved into hasn't been lived in for years, so that's why there's so many rats and mice.

Haha, I’m still around. I’ve been keeping up with our team thread and trying to keep up with the live from the stand thread, just been too busy with other things things to spend much time on here. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to hunt in 2 weeks. Occasionally I pick up small tile jobs to make a little extra income and that’s what I’ve been up to the last 2 Weeks. I got in a little over my head with this job...650 sq/ft of wood look ceramic tile and I had to tear out about 450 sq/ft of old tile. It has kicked my butt...took off all last week to work on it and have been working on it every evening until late this week trying to get it done. Finally got it all put down last night. I’ll be working on finishing/grouting it all the next 2 evenings.

I’m on vacation from Dec. 15-27 so I plan to do some more hunting starting this weekend. Going to try and go check my cameras and throw out some corn this afternoon.

I've now killed a total of about 35+ rats and mice combined.

Ive been chained to my desk since I got home from FL, nothing exciting to report. I might go and pull my trail cam this weekend and see if that buck made it.

Tonight I had the misfortune of gut shooting a nice buck. He looked pretty sick and I backed out. I’m praying he dies quickly and doesn’t suffer. I will update tomorrow. I feel sick.
