    Saw a few deer this morning including a resident 8 point that we've seen on the farm before. About an hour into the hunt had this doe come by at about 15 yards and I put it through her. Only ran about 15 more yards and no track job! Nice big doe and lots of meat! [​IMG]

    18 yard shot. Didn't go as far as I thought. When she went down she must have jumped another deer. I thought I was gonna have a long track. Only went about 75 yards. Glory to God for helping me out this morning! I been feeling pretty crappy about my season. She was painting the grass and small trees in the crp she ran into. Easy track job

    I feel your pain. I missed one yesterday morning she was hauling butt when she came by so by the time I got her stopped she was at about 49 and I rushed and shot right underneath her..

    Good luck guys. I have about 2 weeks left in the season. Hoping to get out a few more times. Not much of a chance but just want to soak up the outdoors before the season closes.

    So I’m gun hunting today and I see a new stand 150 yards from me, it’s on the neighbors propert but I still walked over to investigate..... so I look at the stand, great set up and I see he’s got a corn pile out... I look over at a tree and sure as **** MY camera that was stolen 150 yards away at MY STAND is on the tree!! Same card same pictures I had! Sorry bud I think I’ll take that right back I mean how dumb can you really be???

    Almost sealed the deal on a decent 8 point this morning with my bow, had at 46 at one point but never had an open shot.. still a couple more weeks left let’s get it done fellas!

    Haven’t been posting lately but I’ve been out hard. This weekend I got busted while drawing on a 150 class buck in mn. Tonight marks my 60th sit in the stand this year so hopefully it brings luck
