One of the reasons I Like watching the web show is You guys seem to do this with obtainable equipment. I am kinda getting tired of watching other shows and i will see two ozonics in the tree, one for the shooter and one for the camera man. I guess they work, but for the normal guy to have an extra $800 in the tree with him is rediculous. I could be wrong but I have yet to see one.

Gimmick to get your money. They probably got them provided by the company for "advertising" tax deduction.

It's just not one of those things I feel like I need in the tree with me. I guess if I get winded I get winded.

Exactly the way I feel. Best part is 90% of the time if we do get winded we will never know it. The other 10% leave room for improvement and adds to the fun.

i believe it works (ozonics), last year i was had my ozonics with me in the tree. I had does down wind about 100 yards away. it was quitting time / almost dark, i turned it off to climb down and after about 10 seconds of me turning it off the does started to blowing. all i did was push the button, i was peering around the tree when i was watching them,

If you think it works by all means use it. With the does being 100 yds away their viewing angle is very little and they could probably see you easily up in the tree. Any small movement could have spooked them. We will never know will we.

i think it probably works fine. I'm just not as excited to see a good hunt when there is two of them hanging in a tree. my uncle has been hunting for 40 yrs and just plays the wind. he kinda gives me a hard time because i built an ozone box and spray down before i go in the woods. but he is old school like a lot of old timers.....

I bought the Ozonics HR 300 this year for $399. Used it a couple times but don't have any definitive data to say it works or doesn't. Not trying to start a huge debate or anything but.... the BHOD team does use the Scent Crusher bags. Amazon has them from $199 - $249. They also use the 3D scent spray which is a recurring cost. I'm positive they don't use $150 - $200 of scent spray a year but eventually it all adds up in the end.

All in all, money will be spent on scent control every year regardless of what product(s) you choose to buy. Sometimes it's a single large purchase or scent spray that you continually buy. It's just up to you on what you spend the money on.

No matter what show you watch, the bigger it gets, the more endorsements you'll see. Just the way the business is.

So their $1200+ bows don't have the same impact to you? LOL

I am 100% just kidding. I agree, I've never desired to use Ozonics...ozone in closed controlled enclosures 100% helps fight and eliminate odors....in open air settings I will never be convinced they work as advertised.

You won't find me paying those crazy prices for the scent control gear. Kind of unconvincing when standing next to a buddy who is decked out in it and passes gas.

Folks if you can’t afford it or don’t believe in it don’t buy it. If you can afford it and you do believe in it by all means buy it and enjoy it. It’s all about doing in life what makes you happy and not worrying about what the other guy is doing or has as long as everything we all do it ethical and legal.

Mine's not quite that old, a 1998 Z Light. Been debating an upgrade and needed some new accessories so am well aware of current pricing.
