I like it , I wouldn't think there would be that many to add to score sheet, bow makes it tough, I've only seen yotes bow hunting a hand full of times, and I blew the one shot that I had, 20 yards just under the yote.

I would understand if Fitz didn't want too

I'm up for ideas and changing things from time to time, but I do think it's important for people to remember that not everyone can shoot what others can. For instance, I can't shoot yotes at all and I only get 1 tag, buck or doe (I also have no turkeys). So personally, someone from my part of the country probably wouldn't enter into a competition that they cannot have a chance at the majority of the possible points.

I definitely want to keep the competition first and foremost a deer contest. If someone has an idea to combine other species into a competition, by all means go for it. I think that could be cool. I just don't think it's the best route to go for the current Deer Contest.

    I agree with this 100%. It's a deer contest.

And, thanks to Fitz for running it every year!!!

Where do I go to see the teams and their scores per person. The scorecard page only shows teams 26& 27?

Mine does that too. I’d tap on it and go to web view and could scroll through it all. Did it for a few other threads too.

Ah, I see it is a taptalk issue. I'd try the view as webpage/non mobile route.

    And a shed one no?

We all remember how well the battle of the states contest went too (although many said interested). This contest IMO needs no change (perhaps other than captains being able to ban fellas from it for inactivity LOL!)

    Thanks, Junior.

I knew they were doing an article, just wasn't sure when it would be published. It's supposed to be in the Rack's Magazine as well. I'm excited to see that!

Not yet, it's been at the taxidermist and he has shipped it off to freeze dry the velvet. It just got to the 60 day drying period required for P&Y. Once it's back from the dryer I'll have it scored. Better yet, "try" to have it scored.
