Good luck. Any chance you can get a tracking dog? Or, look for vultures if you go back.

Surgery went well, still in the hospital, never been in this much pain in my life. Doctor says I may be able to get back to hunting in January.

Its been slow around me, wife shoulder shot a doe last week never found it or the arrow. Every morning that I have had to work there are doe in my food plots, weekends they dont show up lol. Had a small buck 8 point pushing my 3 legged gimpy doe around the yard the other morning. This morning before work I was filling my wood boiler and there were 6-7 doe that I could see in the food plot. As they started taking corn down finally. Thanksgiving morning if wife lets me I will be in the blind with my daughter for her first hunt. She lives in PA during the school year and with me all summer and holidays. I work friday, so saturday and sunday we will be hitting it again. I hope to see a nice buck show up and get her on her first deer as well. the 2 doe we shot last year and 1/2 That my sister in law left after they shot theirs has lasted the whole year. Im down to 15 lbs of burger and some chops.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I had planned on getting out for the evening yesterday but working on a leaky toilet prevented that. Hopefully, I will get it fixed this morning so I can get out this evening. The wind is better today anyway. Anyone else getting out this weekend?

I was able get out this week and get a buck down. I have 3 sheds from this buck and he grew a weird side this year after injuring and losing half of his back left leg. I will get him scored and added to the scorecard soon. [IMG]

WI gun season ends today. It was a very quiet year for us. I will be back out with the bow in two weeks.

Hunted this weekend with my daughter and had a blast, didn't see a dang thing while in the blind. I let the dogs out this afternoon and saw a nice doe running through our "orchard" looks like she was in the food plot around 1.

Well, I spent all weekend fixing a stupid leaking toilet. I didn't get out all this weekend. First time in 10 years that I haven’t hunted Thanksgiving weekend. Hoping to get out next weekend. I am having the hardest time getting out, much less getting a doe in range when I do. Only hunted once all November.

I got a buck, would like to get another two or three does for the freezer if I can. Still have another buck tag as well.

Just celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary yesterday so that is why I am not going to get out until two weeks from now. Going to the Big 10 Championship game Saturday...Go Wisconsin . Hoping we get a couple inches of snow before I hunt again so I can see where the deer have moved to after all the pressure from gun season.
