The good news is that you are 14 and land owners usually don't like to crush kids dreams. Knock and talk, be polite and have an open mind
When you get the permission, be sure to remember them at Christmas time. A Christmas card will get you a long ways to being a friend of the landowner.
remember everybody you know, knows other people and probably somebody that hunts. Use your family and family friends, you might be able to find a hunter who will be willing to take you under their wing.
