    Great looking bulls.

    I leave in 26 days for my first elk hunt. Planned on going OTC but applying on a whim for a hard to draw Idaho unit changed that. I can't wait.

    Good luck Scott. You're going to love it. Every big game animal I hunt is special in its own way but elk during the rut is super cool

    Good luck. My next elk hunt will be 2018. My wife is due with our third on October 8th so no elk season for me this year.

    My hunting buddy's picture (Jmbuckhunter ) from yesterday. He had two bulls show up. No legal targets. I was hunting on the other side of the mountain and had a badger hang around me all day. Lol.

    They are getting ready to reintroduce Elk to Minnesota just south of Duluth. Who knows I may have elk on my property before I hang up the bow.

    These are all some nice pics ! I got drew this year for a Kentucky bull tag(It is with a gun, not bow). I get one week starting September 30th. I love looking at all these, gets me pumped up. We have been scouting about every weekend, hoping to hear some bugling in the next few weeks! Good luck to all of you all. Hope to head out west one day and go on a diy archery hunt.

    I think I posted this before but this was at the same spot last year. This bull is 11 yards at the closest point. I had more opportunities on bulls last year than cows. :)
