Well guys, it's that time again. I look forward to the deer contests every year, and talking to new people who share the same interests as me. This marks my 3rd contest and I'm ready to get after them! I live and hunt in east central IL on a family farm that has pretty good bucks on it. It's just a matter of getting them in front of me lol. I've already got a hit list of bucks this year, some familiar faces and some new. I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you over this season. Live in NE Ohio but I hunt down in coshocton county on family owned land. Got a couple hit list bucks so far but we usually have a couple more show up during fall. It's our third year on the farm and we are really starting to figure out the deer. Should be able to at least turn in a doe. If I do get a buck it should score pretty well. I'm in MD and I believe this is my 6th or 7th contest. I haven't killed a buck in a few seasons but am hopefully I'll get more time in the stand this year now that my son is almost 3. Still waiting for 5 team members to check in, that's not good. I'll be hunting on my farm in north central Wis. lots of does, no big bucks on camera yet, they usually show up around middle of Oct. Plus we can't put out any minerals or food this time of year so it's hard to get pics. Looking forward to hearing how you guys hunt in different parts of the country.

Going to put up a camera this afternoon before I head off to work. Like I said before I don't know why I run cameras anyway I hunt my spots regardless but I guess any reason to get out in the woods is a good one, then I'll be checking my other 2 cameras Saturday on anther property where I am usually more successful.
