I don't recognize many of your names, so I will introduce myself. My name is Josh and I will be hunting SW Ohio for the fifth year. I hunt a handful of private properties ranging from 5 to 50 acres. I usually get some awesome bucks on camera, but the big boys still elude me during season. I'm hoping that changes this year!
My first year in the contest for me...My name is Eric. I moved back to Missouri last year and was lucky enough to get a spot on a private lease primarily used for duck hunting--I am the only one after whitetail on 100 acres. Problem is it is mostly ag land, which I had to try and figure out last year (resulting in mistakes that chased some deer off). I'm used to big wood lots, acorns and mountains (Western NC). The lease does have some good bucks cruising it, and I have a camera up with a couple smallish 8s on it so far. Hunting the edges this year and have stand locations already cleared and ready. I won't be in there except to hunt and pull cards (also on edges and easy to get to without bumping) in hopes of better results. I'm super excited for this year fellas! This should be fun. I also have some public land good for some does btw.
I've been around a while but haven't posted much since last year. I bought 13 acres here in northern Maryland and that will be my primary whitetail property. I also have a 50 acre place down the road that always holds quality bucks. I'll be spending a lot of time on the shore this year trying to kill my first Sika stag though.
My names Ben, first year in the contest as well. I primarily hunt a 40 in central wi. Generally we dont have much luck w/ big bucks (its a pretty pressured area) but our food plots have helped in recent years to improve the property. Ill prob hunt some public as well. Last year was a great year for us on the 40 though, so hopefully we didn't use up all of our good fortune... not much on camera as of now.. but not too worried just trying to protect plots so that there is food around come crunch time

Hi guys, My name is Matt from SW Wisconsin. This is my second year as part of the contest and am looking forward to getting to know all of you. I am fortunate to be allowed to hunt 5 pieces of private property near my home with my grade school best friend. We have planted 7 acres of plots this summer and are running cameras on one of the properties hoping to learn more about travel patterns. Last fall, I was lucky enough to harvest my first archery buck and am hoping for a repeat this year.
