saw a couple of small bucks by the house again. I put a trophy rock and camera out. I hope to get out this weekend and put a couple more rocks and cameras out. I won't check them again until August.
Hey guys, my season looks like it's shaping up a bit. I suspect you'll see my hitlist on an upcoming episode of BHOD but for now I'll say I'm very pleased with the deer I'm seeing on the new lease. I'm just hoping they stick around once the velvet peels, and very focused on finishing up my food plots and getting stands and blinds done. Hope all is good with you guys, looking forward to seeing velvet pics from everyone!

Really ready to start this season! Over the years, I've noticed I do better on certain properties when the crop rotation is a certain way and this year everything is lining up! I'm super excited! Stands are all in place, just need to finish clearing some lanes and getting more cameras out! Plots are in as well! Nothing too exciting from here. Haven't had cams out much, maybe a good thing not messing with them steady. Got a few pics of two nice ones. Nothing huge but nice. Saw one this morning when I was outside. Usually by now there's a few bigger ones but who knows. Pretty steady seeing fawns, triplets twins and a single for regulars. Sprayed and filled a few weeks back and brassicas are coming up and topseeded with rye. Pretty optimistic on good plots. Got another stand up and two more I need to. Few neighbor changes in the area changing patterns and stuff. Hopefully should be a good season. Not gonna set the bar high for myself so hopefully can get it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like that big boy I have on cam keeps getting bigger... I'm not expert on scoring, but I would guess he will go in the 160s! Got a call yesterday from Taxidermist. My big 8 from last season is done. I will be picking it up this afternoon. Very anxious to see it. Hopefully ill find a way to post pics.. maybe it will work from phone rather than desktop.
I am very pleased with how last years' mount came out... not my biggest buck to date, but my best buck in my home state of Massachusetts (bow or gun). I guess I can post pics from my phone, but still not from my computer. Great looking bucks guys. I will get a pic up of the big boy I have on camera soon from my phone... hope to lay eyes on him.
Hey Guys, finally made it out to the river and have 2 camera soaking now. Didn't set any cell cameras so won't know what I got done there for at least mother month. Still have 5 cameras hanging in SD. In our experiences the brownings will last a whole year. Hopefully we can still find them all. Hoping to get out there soon to deploy cell cams and check those.
