Searching for a sling that is long enough for a big person, and fit over a internal frame pack. Comfortable and rugged. I like to use my sling over my chest, instead of over shoulder. That way I know that it is not going to slip off. Any suggestions?

That would be a long sling. My back pack has a loop at the top and I hook my xbow to it when dragging deer or carrying a stand. A xbow strapped across your body would not ride comfortable.

Actually I did that. Works pretty good. It is starting to wear out a bit... I was just checking to see if there was any available. Had to glue it together (straps) Could not find anyone with a specialized sewing machine to do the straps.

I hand sew the straps using 25 lb fishing line. Works fine.

you can buy a "buck strap adjusters" and one full length of nylon strap.

Buy two. One on each end of strap. No sewing or glue needed.

Has anyone ever tried to use a 3 point sling like you see on some AR's? Just wondering, and if so was it a yes or a no as far as it being functional?
