Home made archery block

    I made one with cardboard and Woodglue. Created the face out if a few extra interlocking garage floor mats. Frayed a rope and glued it between the layers for a handle.

    a lot of good ideas. for the price of targets these days its a lot cheaper to try and make one yourself

    EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) foam is what you want to get. It's a very dense but lightweight material. Your local foam shop should carry it, or you can easily find it online. My local company sells 4" thick sheets that are 4ft wide. The stuff is a bit pricy, but it will stop arrows for sure.

    It's only expensive when you buy it for that purpose. Kids playmats are made with that stuff too!
