Guy at our pro shop the other day showed me the new G5 Deadmeats, they look pretty nice. I still have Hypodermics from last year so I will probably stick with those. But If was in the market I'd take a hard look at buying those. I usually wait until someone has a deal or special or even gift card. $50 for 3 broadheads is up there. But just something to consider.
I'm seeing that a lot of guys are shooting the rage. I shoot the Killzone and love their performance. With NAP sponsoring this site why do so many choose the rage? The hyperdermic is a much improved retention system and a steel ferrule I personally shoot the 1.5 inch and with that swept back blade angle will out penetrate any model killzone, but I have killed deer with them and they work and I'm sure shot placement has something to do with it but I just get absolutely CRIME SCENE BLOOD TRAILS even with the 1.5 inch cut they are awesome. I've been using the Toxic by Flying Arrow Archery for the past 3 years. Complete pass through every deer with decent blood trails. Every deer went down around 50 yards, with one taking 3 steps 2 leaps and bedding down.
100 grain fixed blades, not a stickler on brand. I just don't want expensive mechanicals screwing up on me.

I broadhead tuned my bow yesterday. Went out with two field tips, one slick trick standard and one wasp jak-knife mechanical. The slick trick actually tuned and to the field tips before the the mechanical head did. I was shooting at 40 yards. I ended up needing to refletch two arrows thanks to the tricks slicing vanes off. Slick Trick 100 grain ViperTrick. Went through last years buck so slick, he didn't even know he was hit. Walked off 10 yards and fell over.
