This big guy was at my camera an hour and a half before I got there to check it. He's been hanging around the last couple of years. I'm no bear expert, but I think he's pretty big. Some of my friends think he may be about 400 lbs. What do you guys think?
Well I'm no bear expert either but I would say he's big enough that I wouldn't want to encounter him in the dark.........or the light, for that matter! Blessings.........Pastorjim
I had one in ky that found my corn and protein feeder and tore up two feeders, I tried the brown molasses corn they do once a year at my feed store, dam if I didn't catch him on camera, taste it then lay down and just scoop it up. Be careful. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
Hard to tell for sure but I'd say in the upper 200s or lower 300s since his belly isn't closer to the ground.
Def a good bear id say about 5 to 10 years old have you seen tracks in the mud for hand compair? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Hard to say because there is nothing to do a size comparison, but based in the fact the legs look long I can confidently say its not 400 lbs. The ears look a little big too. Looking at the shoulders I am guessing its a boar. Coat looks nice and full too but short. All those things make me thing he is on the younger side. Beautiful bear though.
I got this pic an hour and a half before the pic above. A couple people think that this is a different bear. They think it is a female and that the male was following it. Who knows??
Does look like two different bears. Not a 400# bear. Hard to say from that angle but I'd say in the 300# range.
That's mine... you may have to look close, that's a HOSS Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
