Xpedition archery. My favorite bow is the my Xcentric X7. Shoots awesome, easy to hold, adjustable left of, smooth draw cycle. I have a ChillR, Bear Arena 30, Hoyt Spyder 34, Hoyt Spyder 30, Swtichback XT & I always shoot better with my X7.

Take your time, Hoyt and Mathews are top grade bows, but their are several newcomers, I think Bowhunting mag had several listed, try the Obsession bow web site maybe

I shoot Bowtech but there are several manufactures out there who make great bows at varying price points. The best thing for you to do is take an afternoon at your local shop and shoot everything you can. Make your decision on how it feels to you. Here's a quick list I found and anyone could argue any of these manufactures are great for different reasons.

I love my Mathews HTX however shoot a lot of them and go with what you like xpedition is up and coming my local Mathews dealer just started getting them in because he liked them that much that's saying something from a guy that is primarily Mathews dealer for years his dealer number is 0004 so he's been around for a long time

I love my HOYT. But seriously go to all the shops in you're area and shoot all the demo bows they have. One maybe more quiet than the rest but could feel like you have a hand full of gravel when you shoot. One might be the weight you like but you might not like the back wall. Take your time and shoot as many as you can before you buy.
I don't have that luxury seeing as I have a 32in draw, but I tell that to everyone that asks about new bows.

I recommend that you buy whatever bow your favorite professional archer shoots. After all, that brand has to be the best if they use it.

Just be prepared to change your bow yearly when the next brand comes along and buys their loyalty.

Seriously, though, the advice of trying as many different bows as is possible and buying the bow that chooses you is the best advice to follow.

As said previously just shoot multiple bows what some say are smooth drawing bows you personally might not. When I got my bow few years back I went in thinking I was going to buy an elite (smoothest drawing and all that). But when I shot it side by side with my Mathews chill x the way the Mathews drew felt way smoother to me personally but have had people say I was crazy for thinking that.

I too am in the process of buying a new bow. After hitting the big 3 shops here in San Diego and shooting all of the top 2017 bows and a few of them several times It is hands down the 2017 PSE Evolve. I can not express enough that this bow is miles above the rest. Elite was my second pick and it isn't even close. If you buy with out shooting it you will be sorry.

Take a look at the obsession line up. Super smooth drawing, good speeds and quiet. And I believe there all around or under a $1000.00
