Less use of insurance rather than more is part of the answer. Insurance increases the cost 15-20%. Government would never be able to provide coverage universal for less than 20% overhead. We do need to address medical cost but anything we do there benefits private insurance same as it would government provided Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

My 401k and my stocks sure seem to support him so far oh and my work has been busier than hell lately I guess we will see what my taxes and healthcare cost says in the future I could really care less about anything else
Our government is too corrupt and wasteful to do a decent job with single payer unless we make some drastic changes. There would be way too many backs to scratch. Canadians that have money use a private system. Why? Because their single payer system sucks. Same goes for most countries that have single payer. It doesn't mean that it cant work, but it certainly has a lot of issues also. I actually would love to see a single payer system. A good one. But, I have zero confidence in our government making the ideological and fiscal changes necessary to pull it off. Costs of care are certainly a driving factor. But, we expect the best and that costs lots of money. ACH basically gave big pharma the right to steal. Insulin is a prime example. The cost has gone through the roof since ACH was implemented. There are obviously many more examples. This is the first time in the history of our country that COBRA benefits actually cost less than a new private plan. ACH broke the camel's back even faster than I expected. Without tort reform, we will not even begin to control costs of healthcare. And, as long as our House and Senate at both the state and federal level's are filled with lawyers, we are all screwed. They will never do anything to take a dime out of their own pockets. A huge amount of healthcare costs passed down are due to ridiculously high insurance premiums for medical malpractice insurance and the expenses associated with defending and settling court cases.
If 401k is your metric to judge presidents, Obama and Clinton have been the best, we might need another metric
Hey I just going off what the messiah said When the man gets away from his handlers, he says some pretty smart comments. Is Trump Hitler, no, but Steve Bannon is damn close.
I don't think Trump followers put Donald on nearly as high of a pedestal as Obama's faithful did in the prior 8 years. Trump is temporary to even his own voters if he doesn't do the peoples work. The messiah reference was nearly apt during the prior 8 years. The Obama administration was given a pass to run in the halls from the media. As far as the Hitler reference, its worn out on both sides. Its a far stretch to believe that any modern political leader in America wants to round up and exterminate an entire race. We do however, want to protect ourselves from those that would impose their beliefs on our own. If you don't want to play by American rules, go to where you can make your own. And, please stay there. If you want to come here through legal channels and live by the laws of our lands and take advantage of the opportunities we offer in a civil and productive manner, welcome.
I like how doesn't really give a crap about political correctness or what's Presidential. The system is phucked and swamp needs draining. Give he!! Trump. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Who is us? "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters."
Sadly, his comment was accurate because we are desperate for change from the status quo in politics as usual. I'm in CA right now and this liberal hotbed is one big freaking mess. Nobody with any morals and skills wants to take on such a screwed up mess. So we hung our hat on a guy that would at least be different. Right or wrong, different was the best option.
