30 days away. I'll be running after them with the shotgun but thought I'd check Any of y'all bowhunting turkey? And if so is the consensus to use a (popup) blind to help hide your movement?

Harvested my first Archery turkey in NC last year. Pop up blind and full strut decoy with submissive hen decoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not sure who that was directed to... I'll likely be somewhere in Stanley, Davidson, Randolph or Montgomery counties...Generally Alcoa or Uwharrie gamelands.
I use a pop up blind to bowhunting thunder chickens. Works great if the blind has been set up long enough before hand that they are used to it. Have had some issues with the screen windows making them suspicious but they are usually walking dead on their feet by then! Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk
I bowhunted them in Texas from the ground and was successful. But ill be running my mossberg 930 up in the mountains of NC. But its totally doable and will be trying it in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My grandfather's Savage 720 is my goto. If I get a bird, I'll entertain going after the second with the bow.
Thats how I feel here too. Birds were all over me in Texas on a private ranch. It takes a lot of skill n luck to pull it off here with a bow on public land. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
