If you have not heard of this website, you really need to take a look! Great discounts on outdoors and hunting gear from Experticity. It's similar to GovX if you're a member there but the discounts seem to be better here. How good.... You'll just have to see for yourself but it's well worth it. As far as I know, this is available for military vets, law enforcement, fire and first responsders. If you're not sure if you qualify, check it out and see. Seriously, if you spend money on outdoors gear and think you qualify, you need to check this out.

    Special access for experts

I'll have to find an ID card - thanks for posting this.

You're welcome. Not 100% sure but a DD214 should take care of it for prior military. Otherwise you'd have to have an ID card from your employer. But the discounts are fantastic if you qualify and each company that partners with the site has certain criteria and guidelines for purchasing products. Some only allow a certain amount of products to be purchased or a specified $ amount quarterly, annually or something like that.

I was accepted. Being a volunteer firefighter/first responder - just uploaded my EMT card as proof. Looks like great deals from what I browsed. Thanks again!

Are the Costas real deal or knock offs? I have joined a group and would like to get in on the deal.

I don't shop a lot so I'm not really good at comparing prices. What kind of discounts are we talking? 10%, 25%?

It depends on the brand, Brett, but we've all been on this site for a while in my division. Most of the purchases I've made are 40-45% off retail. Also, look at leoadventures.com ...they have Sitka Gear and few other outdoors brands, but come with a $25/annual membership fee. Discounts are about the same, and it's all quality stuff.

Ditto on the discounts. Eders.com is pretty generous also.

They are the real deal. The $50 ones have very little selection as far as color or if the lens is glass or plastic. Im picky, I do a lot of coastal fishing in my yak in the flats so I want the 580G with a green lens. But the ones I got where still over $100 cheaper than I could get elsewhere around me. Im not sure if its with each brand of product but I know you are only aloud 3 costas per year.

Don't sleep on Smith Optics. I have two pair. But the Chromopop pop set I have? Good Lord, they're awesome!

Just waiting on my confirmation email and I'll take a look. Thanks for this post, especially since many of us haven't received crap if any raises over the past decade or more.

Yup. They ship right from Costa. I wear mine every day (Fathom blue green mirror 580G).

    Promotive is another similar site.

From what I know it's first responders such as fire fighters, law enforcement and military or prior service military. Not sure if paramedics are available or not. If you have anything to do with working for a government agency whether it be city, state, or national, I'd send a copy of your ID and see if you qualify. I'll see if I can find a better description.
