Over 20 Terrorists Since 2014 Would've Been Stopped By Ban | The Daily Caller ...so, yeah. Let's keep the doors open.
If you are not following him directly on Twitter, you might want to consider it. Regardless if you like him or not. I enjoy the instant and direct communication from the president.
They very likely could be. But they are our "ally" in the war on terror; are not currently in the throes of a civil war; and actually have a pretty decent internal intelligence service making vetting at least somewhat viable. Saudis with known suspect associations and travel patterns are frequently denied entry to the US.
I think that "ban" is overstated in this instance and a bit of misinformation. The reality is that entry into this country from 7 countries is temporarily paused until vetting procedures can be evaluated and modified if necessary. I would agree that the rollout and application of the policy was not handled in a very good manner and that is where my criticism lies.
I agree that the Saudis should be on there since that is generally where the money comes from. But it looks as if they put the travel ban on countries previously identified by the previous adminstration.
Being a 40-year-old college student, I'm pretty much in hell. All the professors, and a lot of the young students are constantly talking about how horrible Trump is, and how he's destroying America. I don't even bother trying to argue, it's pointless. I even got a mass email from the president of the college about how we all need to unify to protect some of our foreign students. It's truly sad how the media sheds everything he does in a negative light. Even last night on the CBS evening news, there are reporting that 41% of Americans disapprove the travel ban, what they failed to say, was the 48% of Americans approve the travel ban according to The same survey. Sad very sad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Swamp I feel for you man, I would have a hard time listening to the snowflakes try to tell me how the world works. Their perspective will change once they start working and paying taxes.
There's no such thing as perfection on earth when humans are involved. Very easy to complain about something being done which is while you see Democrats do nothing except pander to special interests feelings and hire more future voters on the federal payroll. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its not a muslim ban or a travel ban as the media wants you to believe. There are 50 other muslim majority countries that are not on the temporary restricted list. It is simply countries of high terrorist concern that have procedures of entering the US that are not satisfactory. 3 months of coming up with a better vetting process to ensure these people coming from these specific high threat countries don't have the intention of blowing you up. I fail to understand the outrage over this.
Exactly! These kids were 10 or 12 years old when Obama was elected, they know nothing else, and have no idea what's in store for them in the real world. The professors on the other hand, well........ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've pretty much given up all social media because of the last 2 weeks. Everything Trump does is national news and under a microscope. I don't agree with a lot of Trump's plans but what the media, democrats, protestors, etc have done so far is absurd.
The hypocrisy of Democrats is on display. Remember a few years ago, Democrats went after AZ saying their States immigration law, a law that mirrors the federal laws, usurps the federal governments authority to regulate immigration. Now they are suing over Trumps EO to take federal money from Sanctuary Cities saying that it is states rights. So to them a state choosing to help enforce the laws is bad, and a state/city choosing the NOT help is good? so apparently states rights only apply when it is contrary to the federal government.
