Love fish tacos, especially with smaller bluegill/perch fillets. Walleyes I always do like above or in a sandwich.

I like this idea a lot. We need somewhere to drink our beer on the ice.

Well I will finally be able to get out on the Ice this weekend. Iowa deer season ended yesterday. Took me until the next to last day to get a buck. I put my Vexilar on the charger this morning and relined and rigged up all my poles last night. I'm stopping to get bait today...I can't wait to hit some Iowa hardwater

Good luck. I might be going back out in southern WI this afternoon and tomorrow. We will see what the weather is like. The wind has been brutal the last couple days.

Another night on Mille Lacs. We missed more than we caught (too many bottle bass).

Spending another weekend on Mille Lacs... Friday-Sunday if anyone is interested.

Hoping the warm temps and falling pressure turn the bite on.

Gave my coworker the GPS coordinates to where we fished last weekend and he brought home two man limit of crappies and walleyes two days in a row. The one weekend I couldn't fish..

So jealous of all these Walleye being caught. I am going to try my luck on Lake Erie or Huron this weekend, hopefully!

Mother nature can K.M.A. here in southern Wisconsin. I have had to pull my 11' shanty off 4 times so far this season.
Last Sunday my son went through the ice with his friend on a ATV.(Rest of lake has 10-13" of ice) He ended up with 3 cuts and 13 staples. His friend was ok with the exception if our buddy wasn't in his shanty to help right away I may of been attending a funeral this past week. We had a open spot and part of it froze over night. My son went to the west side of said area but on the way back to the east he didn't travel far enough north to avoid and it looked like just the rest of the ice. Thank god this all turned out ok. Please be safe out there folks!

Yeah we have sure had some sketch ice in SE WI this year. 10 inches in one spot and skim ice in others. Glad your son was ok

This also happened yesterday on the lake we were on. Same lake I fished two weekends ago and there was about 300 houses. Yesterday was about ~20. Little scary seeing that, granted it wasn't the part of the lake we were on.

I'm officially jealous. I was going to go out today, but my wife wanted to go to Billings instead. I heard the perch and trout were biting good on the lake I wanted to fish.

There was a pretty hot perch bite on a neighboring lake, but for me, it's really hard to beat fishing suspended walleyes with a flasher and knowing walleyes will be mixed in as well. Made my decision pretty easy!
