Well, that concludes today's events. I had a buck come though but it was too dark to even tell what he was, had to let him go on by so I didn't spook him. Probably got one more chance. Headed home for some warm supper.

Tomorrow's my day. Supposed to get a couple inches of snow. Starting at noon. Hopefully that wide 9 shows up or a greasy doe. Hoping for both.

Lay something down man. I could have today but with the season over Sunday if that 6 point makes it through this year he's gonna be a nice deer, I just couldn't do it.

2 day sprint to the finish line fellars. I'm gonna go very, very aggressive the next 2 days. I'm gonna setup right outside of his bedroom in the morning and if that doesn't work I'm going in to his bedroom on Sunday. Anybody else got any chance of putting something down possible? We could still pull this out fellars......

Guys, my 16-17 season is over. I just wanted to say I had a great time sharing my season winter ya'll and following along as you guys went out. Even though I don't have a 150 inch buck going on the wall I had plenty of chances and really, really close opportunities that made this season the best one I've ever had. I had a chance to kill the buck I was after but had to pass because of time restating and has another chance with a monster but he just wouldn't stop. I made the choice to not shoot out past 40 yards a couple of times and wound up getting my first 2 bow kills. I have been hunting for over 25 years with some nice deer killed bit this one has been the most exciting with as close as ive been to these beautiful animals. Good luck to anyone who still has some time left to get out.
