I'm new to this forum, but I assume the folks on here know more than I do. I also realize there are many more Matthews dealers around the country, but I am fortunate enough to have both nearby, and I need some wisdom from you guys. Looking for best combination of speed, smoothness, accuracy, weight, looks, in that order. Based on my research, these two are at the top of the list with all of the criteria. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks

Everyone on here is going to tell you the same thing, go shoot them both and choose which one fits you better and you like shooting.

    Welcome to the site!!
Shoot them both and see which one you like best. Both are great bows!

    I have a halon 32 6
So far so good. It needs a little more fine tuning. Peep lowered and draw length shortened a half inch. But seems to shoot good. There almost no creep and holds on target much better than my old Z7.

I owned the DefCon M6 and the Halon 32 6. It's a tough decision but for me the scale tips to the obsession. The obsession to me has a nicer draw cycle and much better valley. On the H32 I didn't care much for the flat back grip either. I swapped it out with a shrewd grip. The H32 groups really well and appears to hold steady. But the feel is really up to you. If you have dealers near by go shoot them. In regards to looks there are a few more options in color for the Obsession as well.

Both are good bows and like everyone says go and shoot them and see which one fits you. My son loves his Mathews but I can't comfortably shoot a Mathews so for me it's an easy decision to go with the Obsession.

    HMMMM????

New year. It must be time for a new bow!!!!!!
