Ive lost a couple of veins off the Quick Fletch. I assumed maybe it was from getting the water too hot??? Overall though I really like them even though they run a little on the expensive side.

Got them a couple of weeks ago and my bow tech told me how to do them. Boil the water and slowly stick arrow in water until fully submerged. Then count the 10 seconds. Inserting slowly into the water helps get all air bubbles out. After submerged 10 seconds... pull arrow out of water and sit aside to dry. You can fletch a dozen with quick fletch and be shooting before you find your jig. I think the issue is over heating them. In my experience I had this issue when I let the water get to a rolling boil.

I switched arrows this year to BEA and they came blazer vaned already...however I'd shot quickfletches for I think 3 years....NEVER had an issue unless bad shot or through a deer bone or broadhead slicing. I inserted them EXTREMELY slow and have had water simmering or bubbling and neither seemed to change results. I probably take dang near 10 seconds just lowering the things making sure every tiny air bubble is slowly forced out. I also water tub float the arrows and mark the heavy side which when floating is the under side...and put off arrow fletch on this as well. My arrows this year were insanely grouping well...however I switched arrows and shot a new bow. Gonna experience some with quickfletches and see if they played any part in it, by going to blazers.
I have had good success with them this year. My buddy had similar success as well, he had one or two fall off. Not sure if it will make much difference, but I did hear you are not recommended to shoot quick fletch from a whisker biscuit. I am going to use them again this year. Hope it works out for you! I have not had any problem with the ones I've used. I don't think you are supposed to submerge them into boiling water though, it should be a little cooler than boiling, then lower them down slowly and at an angle. I've knocked a fletching off on occasion while shooting groups, but other than that I've had no issues at all.
In the past i never had too much of a issuse with them. Had a couple of them not lasting and J if i grouped arrows to close and tore them. Bought new arrows, beman white outs, they came with blazers on them and ill tell you what i had to refletch them already cause id tear vanes. Grouping them to close and tearing them. White outs are nice but the coloring comes off when refletching. Now im using wraps to cover the carbon spots and fusion vanes. All is good so far.
