This is more of a woe is me than anything. I've got precious few days of deer season left and tweaked my back Wednesday morning at the gym. I've got the ole Obsession tuned to a "T" and she's whisper quiet and spot on - just sitting there. Went to do squats yesterday and put all of my weight on both ends and then noticed when I stood under the bar, it was way too high for me. Didn't want to take all of that weight off to move it down on the Smith and put it all back on and stood on my tip toes to get it off the rung and immediately felt a sharp pain. Can't pull the bow back much less climb a tree. It hurts in the lower left mid section of my back left of the spine but also a bit into my ribs, kinda like bruised ribs. A deep breath hurts. I went into about a 10 sneeze deal this morning and the deep breath before the sneeze 'bout brought me to tears. The actual sneeze wasn't all that bad. Anybody ever had pain there like that? If so, how long to recover?
I'm not a Dr. but it sounds like you may have strained your uterus. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pulled/torn muscle somewhere. Let it heal. You've had a good year so far and you want a good one next year so....... breathe and watch a good hunting show or hit the forum on bowhunting.com!!!!!!
Oh gosh! Don't make me laugh! I always thought when people said they hurt their back, the pain they were talking about was like the soreness from going up in weight at the gym and being sore the next day. Until I actually hurt my back.
That's why I only front squat anymore. Doing Back squats is just flirting with pain. Front squats actually fixed a lot of my back problems Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
HAHA. But on a real note, don't push it. Be ready for next season, don't want to hurt it long term. Good luck
Inversion table asap. Hurt my back many times. Only thing that fixes it. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Went to see a chiropractor for the first time in my life late Thursday evening and was shooting my bow Friday afternoon. Back feels worlds better but still some deep breath pain in the front lower left ribs. Movement wise I can do about anything I want but that area is still tender to the touch. Dr said 2 more Lifetime movies or 6 episodes of Ellen and I'd be as good as new.
