Gonna try the same spot I killed my doe earlier this year thus morning.

 

I'm thinking I might start hunting again next week. Weather is getting cold and hunting over a food source could be very good. Good luck today

 

Killed a doe. I know it doesn't help with points but I'm gonna try for 1 more when I get time.

I'm just happy that y'all are still getting out there. Pretty woods by the way.

 

2 more weeks and I'll be able to hit it again. It'll leave me with about 3 weeks of hunting.

Went this morning and saw a MONSTER but he was chasing does and I couldn't get him to stop. I let 2 little bucks walk and my Lil brother wound up taking his first buck so it was a damn good day.

 

Haven't gotten out with the bow since 11/17. I've got the itch to just get out and sit in a tree! Hoping to try this weekend. We have around a foot of snow with another 8" predicted for Fri-Sat. Just hoping the temps raise a little. Had -7 this AM. Gotta be even colder up by you Neal.

 

Wow, I hadn't looked at the score card in awhile. Were still sitting pretty. Afflicted's buck and a few does and its "the nail in the coffin".
I'm gonna be back out this coming weekend. Definitely on Doe patrol.

 

If we had 3 or 4 does and another decent buck we could really pull this out!!!!

 

I'll get out a couple more times yet with a bow. I would love to kill a public land deer.

 

Nothing for me Saturday afternoon/evening. Not a single large animal track in the 12+ of snow and didn't see anything while on stand. Would've loved to have gotten one just to follow the blood trail in the fresh snow.
