Vertigo Camo Pattern

I've been using the Vertigo camo pattern from the treestand since 2011. Now, I know about the old guy Ive never heard of that killed them as big as Babe the blue ox in blue jeans and flannel....but I seriously think this stuff works.

Was wondering if anyone else uses it and what their opinion is. Or maybe other patterns that seem to work well in the tree.

 

I've used treebark from the mid 80's yet and the boys I hunt with still have a hard time finding me. Looking to buy new since these pants are now starting to fall apart. Need to check out if Jim crumley is still in bussiness new stuff just to shiny for me. I think deer can see that shine if I can also

 

I have a lot of Vertigo Grey and Tan. I personally don't worry as much about wearing it in early and mid October but once cover and leaves start dropping I live in the stuff due to all it's negative space.

Holding still will still get results but I'd like to think my experiences in it has been impacted with it somewhat. Problem is getting new articles of it from Scent Lok anymore.

I love this Skyline (Horizon Pattern) camo for late season. It's expensive, but it's very warm and water PROOF. Made in Canada.

 

Nice deer. How'd you get him to sit up like that on his own?

I have the same stuff for when I hunt in a patch of birch trees. It's lightweight so I can't use it late season though. Switch to Cabelas Zonz Woodlands snow for that. It's very similar to the Vertigo.

I think you'll find the Predator brown deception and fall grey cameos ar very effective in a treestand
