10,000

Normally wouldn't do this, but just happened to see I was at 9,998 posts this evening when writing one, so what the heck.

I know there are plenty of guys here that have hit the 10,000 post mark a long time ago, but it's hard for me to believe. What started out as a random search that led to me joining HNI back in, I believe 2001, to being able to become a part of this great forum over the past few years. It's been fun.

While I certainly don't post as much as I once did, it's still always fun to read the variety of content posted here. I may be biased, but in all of the years, even with a growing membership, it's never really felt like some of the other forums out there. There may be disagreements, arguments, trolling, etc. from time to time, but in the end, it seems there is more helping and sharing here than most forums out there.

I would say here's to another 10,000, but I'll probably be dead by then

My interests in bowhunting kind of shifted from the bulk of the content of this website, so lately I've found myself elsewhere more frequently. That said, the water cooler I always check just for friendly debate with old names.

Sota, almost 9,000 posts in 2.5 years? What do you get for being the fastest to 10k?

 

My wife is so grateful for this site she really does not want to hear me talk about bowhunting and things associated with bowhunting as much as I like to talk about it.

Congrats, You important people should come up with a new ranking for those that hit 10,000! From Legendary woodsman to Past the prime old timer

 

I agree that a new ranking is warranted for 10,000+ posts.

Go check out posts you made when you first joined . I've done it for other forums I'm a part of, and it was not pretty.

 

Lol. My wife hates it. Mostly because more often than I should soon as I log off I'm breaking out the credit card to buy something else hunting related.

She does like watching BHOD though.

 

Average length of post is where Sota would slip back some LOL quick whit and BS doesn't take many words

 

I can think of a couple other custom "rankings" I'd like to see before this one

 

I'm about as far from a legendary woodsman as you can get

Yeah, the fact that some of your new joiners have made as many posts as you have in such short time boggles my mind. I barely have time to get things done around the house. 95% of my posting anymore is done from work (don't tell anyone)
