I think with the blood you posted she will die, you just need to give her some time....

Not upset with you at all. It is a HUGE learning process. Over been hunting 30 years. Still learning all the time.

    Give her time.

Your deer will probably be dead within 100 yards of the last spot where you jumped it. Just give a few hours. Take binos and go slow. The deer is going to die from that shot. I was in a similar position with a doe about a month ago. Good luck!

No worries man, we are all here to support one another, not pass judgement. We've all been there before but regardless of the size of the deer, once you let that arrow fly, you have a responsibility to that animal to do everything possible to recover it. Like others have said, she is hurt bad. Go back in this evening and you may be surprised to find her close to where you last saw her. Good luck!

I wasn't trying to be upset with you. I was just saying to not give up so quickly. I believe that deer is going to die, just give her some time man.

Good luck to you guys tracking! Give it time, not going to hurt anything by waiting. I'm done for the day with no more deer sightings. The guy hunting about 200 yards from me saw a big buck walking a creek bank. Too thick for a shot.

Sat for a while then snuck out of timber. Waiting for hunting partner, about 10am walked down picked up arrow and walk around for an hour NO blood anywhere!
We just kept looking finally hunting partner said "blood" about 100 yards from shot. I started tracking large trail, within 10 feet 2 beds with lots of nlood then I saw movement, she was down but moving, i was within 15 yards. Backed out grabbed my bow and snuck out back to the cabin while partner kept an eye on her. I came back and now she wasn't moving but i shot her again just to make sure.

My first shot was 5-7 yards and i thought i aimed high enough, i wron, i hit her maybe 3 inches low for hiw close i was. She apparently was slightly quartering to as exit was slightly back.
The large rage opened her up pretty good and she had some innards hanging out...

If you don't go after her, you will second guess yourself and regret not knowing all off season (Been there done that). Give it a few hours and take up the trail again. Bring some friends and your bow...

Ethics truely are what you do when no one's looking...
