Sitka downpour jacket. I did 12 hour sit in it a couple weeks ago. Rain all day and not 1 drop on my under clothes. That stuff is worth the money!

back out for a while. looks like liver hit.

bowhunt, I wear my regular gear and then I wear frogg toggs over when it's raining. much cheaper. top and bottom only $60 at field and stream. sat in rain all day and never leaked.

I hate to post this post because i hate wounding deer and ive been really not liking unethical hunters seems we have alot aound here in this aera. But i gave the deer another hours or so and we went lookin and bumped her again and when she ran off ther was vertchly no blood and she was runin on three legs so guess i live and learn as always and do beter next time. Makes me sick but ther only so much i can do guess i need to practice more. Thanks for the imput and the deer one once again

Go after her in 3 more hours. If she bedded twice, she's wounded. At least got to give it a go.

2 years ago I shot a doe in the morning. I waited 3 hours and still bumped her. Went after her 5 hours later and spotted her bedded down at dusk. Thought she'd be there in the morning...nope. found her another 100 yards away. I used Navionics...a fishing app to mark where I searched.

Man, you can't give up that easily. That deer, even though it's a doe, deserves better than that. You shot it, you should give it the time it deserves.

If you walk off and leave it now and say ohh well, you become one of those unethical hunters......
