    Just had a 6 pt come by at 20 yards and walk out to 30 yards and bed down. Now this is going to make really hard to look around. He is looking right at me!

    Somwer low and behind shoulder... first shot ive evr takin on a deer and its not as easy as i thought... i didn get a pass thru and it made a good noisy when it hit

    You probably hit the offside shoulder or leg which is fine. How much penetration?

    Mann its been a boring sit for me so far this morning. Ive seen a few birds. I think i need to re-evaluate my stand location lol

    Here comes the rain! Ugh i need to invest in some good gore tex. maybe sitka next year? Yea right i cant afford that lol. Any suggestions on some good late season rainwear?

    Heyy Chuckles congrats on getting a shot off! That adrenaline rush and challenge is why we all bowhunt! As was already stated fawns are not as strong as the mature deer and tend to die easily. So dont get discouraged and definitely give it some time before you get down to track it and you should be able to recover it! Good luck
