wait til you have kids someday! you're bummed about thanksgiving? you have no idea the sacrifices in your future. enjoy the hunting time you have now and and all the hunting trips because someday it will slow down dramatically. lol
funny thing is I wouldn't trade it for anything. well maybe some info where your hunting spots are. haha
seriously though, how do you get that much time off school to do all of those trips? my son would be kicked out if he took that much time off unexcused. just wondering is all.

Thank you! I guess nobody saw the humor. Oh well lol

On a serious note I would give anything for the few instances each year that our whole family finds the time to come together. No deer can replace that.

Just missed my first shot ever with a bow :(

Beautiful buck that I've been hunting aggressively the last week or so finally got close enough. Gave his belly a hair cut :(

Just out of curiosity, will this thread pick up again? Or does it usually slow down this much after the rut?

This morning was a bist with my father-in-law. Duck hunters on the river 200 yards away. Didn't see a thing. Gave up after a couples of hours. Probably heard 50 shots during that time.

You won't get rid of me until our season is over. I don't give up after gun season. I just hit it that much harder. We have a 2 week managed hunt coming up the first 2 weeks of December.
